Take in the incredible views from the newly remodeled 33rd Floor. “The refreshed 33rd floor introduces redesigned meeting rooms and event spaces offering sweeping skyline views and refined finishes inspired by Philadelphia’s architectural heritage,” the hotel said.

The redesign features earthy colors found in nature with a neutral background to give it a “timeless and contemporary feel.” Along with the interior design upgrades, technology, furnishing, lighting, and the restrooms were also elevated.

The Society Hill Hotel in Old City recently completed nearly a year of renovations, with careful attention paid to its historic features. Located just blocks from Independence Hall, this nearly 200-year-old boutique hotel features 15 guest rooms that offer odes to history while being adorned with modern fixtures. New owners Mike Cangi and Brian Linton revived the original neon gas sign in bright gold, restored the oak bar, and preserved the large barroom windows. Those odes to the past remain at the newly opened Piccolina Italian restaurant, which features Neapolitan-style pizzas, house-made pastas and oysters.

The Bourse building is undergoing a major transformation with a highly anticipated opening set ahead of the summer of 2026. Keystone Development is constructing 152 boutique guest rooms across several floors of this historic landmark, which has stood on Independence Square since 1895.
Part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, the new hotel will feature a 7,500-square-foot signature restaurant on the ground floor, adding a premier dining destination to the historic district. Genesis Capital broke ground on The Jaan at Center City, a new hotel project blocks away from the Pennsylvania Convention Center, in 2024. The seven-story development will offer 81 units targeting long-term guests and business travelers. Additionally, the plan includes an 1,800-square-foot ground-floor commercial space for a restaurant and bar. The project features a two-level rooftop deck, with the intention of opening a rooftop bar, along with amenities like a gym, a small co-working space, and a private conference room.

Ensemble, in collaboration with Mosaic Development Partners, is actively working on plans to introduce a Unbound Collection by Hyatt hotel to the Navy Yard, near the Philadelphia International Airport and South Philadelphia Sports Complex The Waylen at the Navy Yard hotel is set to provide 18,000 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor courtyard, and a ballroom.
