American Vegan Center is located at 17 N. 2nd St., across from Christ Church. A project of the American Vegan Society, the longest-running national vegan organization in the U.S. (since 1960). In addition to tours on the fascinating vegan and vege ... tarian history of Philadelphia, the Center also offers books, snacks, postcards, T-shirts, and other merchandise, restaurant info, food samples, and much more! Its mission is to make eating vegan and going vegan easier and more accessible to all.
